**Bottom Surgery is currently suspended for ALL SCOTTISH PATIENTS at New Victoria Hospital **

New Victoria Hospital have confirmed that Scottish patients will not be offered bottom surgery at their hospital, until further notice.

This is apparently due to a ‘funding issue’.

If you are a Scottish patient on the bottom surgery waiting list with NVH, make your local MP/MSP aware that Scottish patients are currently being refused access to trans surgery at NVH due to an apparent ‘funding issue’. I would also consider making a complaint to your NHS board and to NVH directly.

This is a serious situation that has been going on since last year but NVH have chosen to not make public knowledge.

If this continues to go unnoticed and is not being brought to the attention of the Scottish government, this will have a massive impact on the bottom surgery waiting list.

We are urging our followers to make complaints and reach out to their local MPs/MSPs.

Hey everyone! The official date that my waiting list for commissions will be opening applications is Friday, November 15th at 2pm EST. It will stay open for a few hours on that day only, and then I'll choose which ones to work on for the next few months.

Update on requests

Hello everyone, 😁 Thank you all for the fun requests I've been getting.

I just wanted to let everyone know there is currently a waiting list for them. Meaning it will take me a while to finish new requests. But requests are stil open and new ones always welcome! You will just have to wait some time before I'll be able to get to it. So if you don't mind that feel free to contact me. I'm trying to post atleast one request a week. But it can take me longer sometimes.

I just want to let you know that I'm going to raise my commission prices a bit. I know this is not good news and everything is getting more expensive these days, my rent is no exception 🥲 That's why I made this decision - I hope you understand! (^^ゞ It won't be a crazy increase and it won't affect people on my current waiting list so if you are on my current list the old prices still apply! and if you want a commission from me then this is the best time to order drawings at the old price. After I publish the new commission infographic, the old prices will not be available.

Also, I think I will spend slightly more time drawing the artwork for you from now on. I usually finish them in 4-13 working days (depending on complexity) 'cos I always want to deliver them fast but sometimes I feel like it affects quality sometimes, so now I want to give myself more time to polish them - I hope you understand 👐

Just over 1 in 200 people in Derbyshire is waiting for an autism diagnosis.

Not has an autism diagnosis. Is waiting for one.

This only counts people who are officially on the NHS waiting list. People who are only requesting a private assessment, are being re-assessed for autism as part of a treatment/medication/accommodations assessment or are not on the list for any reason aren't counted. Fun note: the average wait is 4 years. Even if one assumes that every child is diagnosed before 18, and even if one recalls the NHS rarely puts children below age 2 on the waiting list unless the referring GP happens to be an autism expert, that still suggests the true figure of autistic people is 1 in 50. (Due to the above exclusions, that’s almost certainly an underestimate). If you have a public space or public-facing organisation, assume autistic people will use it, assume they will expect to be able to access it and be included within it - and plan accordingly.

There are no rules for any of the waiting lists. It generally comes down to admins and them keeping the waiting lists in order.
